Resilience is the remarkable ability of humans to adapt when faced with adversity. It is an ability that can be learned and developed by anyone.

This January, join mindfulness teachers Priyavajra and Caro for an eight-week intensive online course based on the MBSR (Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction) programme. The course will focus on developing resilience and will take you through the following steps:

Awareness. We learn to become more resilient by training our attention. We do this through meditation and mindfulness, enabling us to see our unhelpful tendencies more clearly.

‘Being With’. Next, we cultivate an attitude of acceptance. We meet adversity with courage, and learn to view life's inevitable challenges as opportunities.

Choices. With a stronger foundation, we are then able to take purposeful action to maintain our wellbeing and respond creatively to change.

What you’ll get:

  • 12 hours of Mindfulness Tuition from experienced teachers.

  • 8 session summaries and guided practices to download sent to your email.

  • A recording of the session to watch again.

Previous Breathing Space course participants tell us:

“It gave me the chance to step back and reflect rather than react, which has helped change how I communicate.”

“The most transformational experience of my adult life.”

“I developed helpful skills for my everyday life.”

“I don’t have panic attacks any more, through this course I now notice when I am approaching them and take steps. I feel more in control of my life.”

“It has brought me back to me. Thank you.”
