Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction
Our 8-week gold standard Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction course returns in-person to Breathing Space, led by Prajnadevi and Cahit.
There is a wealth of evidence in clinical trials to show that mindfulness can reduce stress and anxiety. We feel more in connection with the present moment, and more equipped to deal with life’s difficulties. Rather than pushing our challenges away, we turn towards the challenge with a kindly awareness.
This course will take you through 8 weeks of Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction. Each week, there will be a chance to learn meditation, and practice key mindfulness tools and techniques. You will explore the week’s mindfulness topic; have the opportunity to share your experience in small, facilitated groups; and enjoy a tea break!

Prajnadevi has over twenty years of mindfulness and meditation practice and has taught at Breathing Space for many years. She is a qualified shiatsu and acupuncture practitioner and works in East London.
Cahit works for Breathing Space, taking care of our Carers programme. He has meditated and practised mindfulness for a decade. He is a qualified coach and trainer.
